You will find that they are easier to work with, that there isn’t as much competition and that they cost less when you want to run your ads. That’s the best reason to spend time with them in the first place–to save some money. So do your best at those smaller engines, and refine your ad writing skills. This will also improve your comfort with the dynamics of search engines before you move up into Google and Bing.
One thing to remember with PPC ads and advertising is that planning is essential for success.
Most people do think about their landing page, hopefully, but we think that is something secondary. Another good thing to keep in mind is to keep the conversation going all the way through. If your bounce rate can be lowered as much as possible, then Google will give you points for that.
